Industry specialists in supplying, installing and maintaining fully-integrated business telephone and hotel entertainment systems, the team at Cornwall-based Orbiss has completed the relevant training requirements to offer Samsung telephone solutions, in addition to its existing products with LG Ericsson.
Orbiss, which has over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, will be able to provide existing Samsung users with guaranteed fixed-price maintenance contracts, incorporating free remote programming changes and comprehensive telephone support as standard.

The Truro-based firm has also introduced new preferential call rates for valued customers recently which mean their tariffs have reached an all-time-low. Calls to mobile phones are now under five pence per minute and those to local and national landlines are almost half a pence.
Karen McGowan said the call prices meant that their customers did not have the risk of using cheap internet-based telephone services, “Some businesses are turning to SIP or Session Initiation Protocol trunk systems which consist of low-cost lines relying on an internet connection. It’s claimed they are beneficial in saving costs on connectivity and are more flexible, but that’s not always the case. Whilst we embrace the latest SIP solutions, and use them ourselves, we always recommend solid, tried and tested analogue and digital lines for the bulk of our customers’ communications, rather than a broadband link on its own, which as we know, can be unreliable, and we’re still able to offer some of the lowest call rates.”
